Rigid cell air filters, also known as box air filters, are deeper and more durable than pleated panel air filters. With MERV (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value) ratings ranging from 8 to 14, they are capable of capturing particles of various sizes. A higher MERV rating indicates greater effectiveness in trapping smaller particles, ensuring superior air filtration performance.
